The Waka Mere Challenge is an initiative of IFC / World Bank supported by the Solomon Islands Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Australian Aid. Breadfruit’s role in the Challenge is to train Domestic Violence Contact Teams in many of the largest employers in the Solomon Islands.

AOTEAROA The Caritas START programme, now in its fourth year, builds the capacity of the Solomon Islands Regional Training Centres. Breadfruit is a key implementation partner. We design and deliver 10-day workshops for RTC staff to develop their leadership, management and business skills.

VANUATU DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM
VSTAP PROGRAMME The VSTAP programme supports the development of small ni-Vanuatu tourism businesses around the Efaté ring road. Breadfruit’s role has been to help 18 of these businesses to refine and enhance their product offer, better understand their markets, and adopt more formal business practices.

STRONGIM BISNIS AUSTRALIAN AID
We are a preferred training provider to Strongim Bisnis, an Australian Aid funded programme in the Solomon Islands. Strongim Bisnis is supporting the Western Province Tourism Association by funding a series of development workshops for small, locally-owned accommodation, transport and tour operators. We recently ran the first of these workshops for operators in Munda, Gizo and Marovo Lagoon, focused on how to create amazing visitor experiences.
